Throughout our lives, each of us will be faced with innumerable challenges that can leave us feeling depleted, discouraged, and stuck. At times, the wave-like intensity can threaten to overwhelm us. In my practice, I offer clients a safe space and compassionate presence in which to explore their obstacles to living more fully, and to practice effective strategies for addressing those obstacles. I work primarily with adults in individual sessions from a mindfulness-based perspective. Mindfulness-based counseling offers an opportunity to obtain clarity about the sources of our distress, engage effective practices for altering how we relate to that distress, and move purposefully toward valued goals.
